Indigo Run Community Owners Association, Inc. ("IRCOA," "we," "us") is a nonprofit owners' association in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use your information when you buy a ticket to an IRCOA Lifestyle Community event and ask to receive your ticket by text message. It applies to our SMS ticket delivery program, called "Indigo Run Events Ticket Texts."

Who sends the text messages

Ticket texts are sent by Indigo Run Community Owners Association, Inc. under the name "Indigo Run Events," from the phone number 854-946-5569. We send these messages only for ticket delivery.

Information we collect

Your name and email address, as entered when you buy a ticket.
Your mobile phone number, if you choose to receive your ticket by text.
A record of your consent to receive ticket texts (the date, time, and how you agreed: online checkbox or verbal consent to our staff at the door).
Basic ticket details, such as the event name, date, and ticket number.
Message history needed to run the program, such as delivery status and any STOP or HELP replies you send.

How we use your information

To text you a link to your event ticket QR code after you buy a ticket.
To resend your ticket link if you ask us to.
To respond to HELP requests and honor STOP (opt-out) requests.
To keep a record of your consent as required by law and by mobile carriers.

Ticket texts are transactional only. We do not use your mobile number to send marketing or promotional messages.

No sale or sharing of mobile information

We do not sell or share mobile numbers or SMS opt-in data with third parties for marketing. Mobile phone numbers, text messaging originator opt-in data, and consent records collected for this program will not be shared with any third party or affiliate for marketing or promotional purposes.

We share information only with service providers that help us deliver ticket texts (for example, our SMS delivery provider and our payment and ticketing provider), and only as needed to provide the service, or when required by law.

How long we keep your information

We keep your mobile number and consent record for as long as needed to deliver your ticket and support your event, and then for up to 24 months to show that we had your consent and to honor opt-out requests. If you opt out, we keep your number on our opt-out list so we do not text you again. You can ask us to delete your information at any time using the contact details below, unless we must keep it by law.

How to opt out

Reply STOP to any ticket text to stop receiving messages. You will receive one final message confirming you have been unsubscribed. Reply HELP for help. You can also contact us using the details below. Opting out of texts does not cancel your ticket; you can still get your ticket by email or at the door.

Security

We use reasonable measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to keep your information safe.

Children

Our SMS ticket program is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above shows when it was last changed.
